It is a September evening and the year feels like it has a shape. You want to know which weekend not to start the bathroom, and which day is right to sign the thing that matters. Every day below carries its officer and its reason, so you can plan around it without believing anything first.

The tradition assigns each day one of twelve officers, and each officer a character. We group them: favourable days suit beginnings and agreements; settling days suit finishing and tidying; neutral days are ordinary operating days; caution days suit routine over risk.
